Notable Project Achievements
IT Platform
A content delivery platform, compatible with both web and smartphone applications, was newly designed and developed for leading smartphone manufacturers in Taiwan and China. The development was collaboratively executed by GTE Group staff based in Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore, with the service offering multilingual support in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
Fintech
In collaboration with payment solution providers and semiconductor manufacturers across Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the EU, we conceptualized and designed an innovative business model and system to enable contactless payment. The development of this service was driven with a global perspective, aiming for applicability not only in Japan and Singapore but also across international payment infrastructures.
E-Commerce
We developed a comprehensive e-commerce platform tailored for mobile device retailers, telecommunications carriers, and smartphone manufacturers in Japan, enabling the complete online purchase of smartphones and SIM subscription contracts. Customers can seamlessly select from a wide range of smartphone models and multiple SIM plans, combining them as desired, while also managing ongoing subscription renewals through the platform.
Smartphone
We provided development support for smartphones designed by Japanese creators for manufacturers in China and Taiwan. Leveraging the expertise of established Japanese creators, the GTE Group produced smartphones branded with the label "Designed by JAPAN." Esteemed Japanese product designers, musicians, and other creative professionals collaboratively contributed to the project, dividing responsibilities to deliver comprehensive creative direction that extended beyond device design to include elements such as wallpapers and ringtones, thereby shaping the smartphone experience in its entirety.
Video Creation
As part of the COOL JAPAN initiative, we collaborated with Japanese government agencies, advertising firms, video creators, and modeling agencies to produce video content showcasing Japan’s tourist attractions, specifically targeted at international visitors. These videos were optimized for smartphone viewing and released in a vertical format. Furthermore, the content was translated into Japanese, English, and Chinese to ensure broad accessibility across multiple linguistic audiences.
